Privacy Policy for Nawa

Thank you for using Nawa (Nawa: Zikirmatik ve Tesbih), developed by Synctegron. Nawa is a dhikr / tasbih counter for iPhone and Apple Watch. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the app.

No ads. No tracking SDKs. No account required. We do not operate a first-party user database or login system in v1.

1. Information on Your Device

Counting history, preferences, custom dhikr, goals, and related app data are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync (a Premium feature), that data is synchronized through your Apple iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. Synctegron does not host a separate copy of your dhikr history on its own servers.

2. Location

Nawa may use your device location solely to calculate local prayer times for optional reminders. Location is processed on your device and never leaves the device — it is not sent to Synctegron, TelemetryDeck, RevenueCat, or any other service. If location is unavailable, a default city (Istanbul) may be used for calculation.

3. Third-Party Services

The app’s network surface is limited to the following:

• TelemetryDeck: Privacy-focused analytics. Signals are hashed; we do not send personal content such as your dhikr text, location, or contact information.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase / receipt-related data needed to validate and manage entitlement status. Payments themselves are processed by Apple.

We do not use advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs. There are no ads in Nawa.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Premium purchases are processed by the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment card details.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders (daily reminder, streak protection, prayer-related prompts, and similar), notifications are scheduled locally on your device through Apple’s notification system.

6. How We Use Information

• To provide core counting, library, widgets, Watch, and sync features.
• To understand aggregated product usage via TelemetryDeck (hashed signals).
• To manage Premium entitlements via RevenueCat.
• To diagnose and improve reliability.

7. Children’s Privacy

Nawa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
